About the Event

Welcoming the turn of the seasons with movement, breath, cacao and stillness - accompanied by poetry and original songs - co-created by Débora Gonçalves & Lena Younes.

Join us as we weave our favourite modalities into a journey of embodiment and presence, supported by ceremonial cacao, journalling and our own creative offerings.

'Whispers of Winter' will lead you through...

  • 'Shake the Dust' flow
  • Gentle breath journey
  • Ceremonial Cacao
  • Journalling
  • Yin Yoga & Relaxation
  • Poetry & Original Songs

This workshop is open to all - you do not need experience in any of the modalities we offer - and is intended as a personal journey within as we prepare for the more inward part of the year.

€20-30 sliding scale. Booking required.

...a little more about the different practices:

Shake the Dust

This is a transformative and embodied practice of the bodyheartmind.

Through a guided poetic universe with a theme related to each practice we journey between perpetual movement, rest, release and free movement.

For Whispers of Winter, we can experience a moment of flow state, a more intuitive and free movement practice, where we’ll land into the liminal space navigating through form and formless.

Breath

Breath is life and forms the heart of yoga and many other somatic practices. The way we breathe reflects the way we live - so when we learn how to breathe differently, we can create transformation in other parts of our experience.

In this workshop, we will explore a short journey of gentle conscious connected breath as well as a couple of other pranayama techniques to help us integrate on a physical, emotional and mental level.

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga works with the body's connective tissues - fascia, tendons and ligaments - as well as the meridians of traditional Chinese medicine to create change through acceptance and letting go. Poses are held for several minutes at a time and are all on the floor, with or without the use of props depending on your needs.

Yin is a very personal practice and you will be encouraged to listen to your body and your intuition.

This particular Yin Yoga practice will be accompanied by poetry and original songs, taking you on a journey into your inner landscape of being.
